Schwab Grows Institutional No Transaction Fee Fund Offering for Independent Advisors

WESTLAKE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schwab Advisor Services™ has increased its institutional no transaction fee (INTF) mutual fund capabilities for independent registered investment advisors (RIAs). The expanded line-up will nearly double its size to approximately 2,000 funds across 58 asset managers.

Schwab’s INTF offering now includes AB, Akre, Alger, AMG, American Beacon, Artisan, Baron, Buffalo, Carillon, Cliffwater, Federated, Gabelli, Harding Loevner, Hartford, Jensen, John Hancock, Lazard, Manning & Napier, Matthews, Natixis/Loomis, NYLI, Oakmark, Parnassus, Performance Trust, PGIM, Royce, Segall Bryant, Thornburg, Victory, Virtus, Voya, Wasatch and William Blair.

“This robust capability will provide independent advisors seamless access to the most trusted institutional funds, enhancing both advisor and client investment optionality,” said Jalina Kerr, Head of Advisor Experience for Schwab Advisor Services. “Since the last expansion, we’ve seen exceptional adoption – AUM up 22% YoY – a testament to the need this meets.”

The newly available funds complement the 1,200+ funds from 25 asset managers already integrated into the platform. This expansion provides RIAs with more no-transaction-fee options across a broader range of funds featuring lower net expense ratios and a greater number of Morningstar™ 4- and 5-star ratings.
