Town of Frederick to Join Intrepid Fiber Networks’ Open-Access Broadband Expansion

FREDERICK, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Friday, Intrepid Fiber Networks, in partnership with ALLO Fiber, held a groundbreaking event in Frederick, Colorado, officially commemorating the beginning of its network deployment to over 5,400 homes and businesses across the town. This initiative marks a significant investment into Frederick’s digital future, bringing symmetrical, multi-gigabit Internet speeds to residents and businesses and ensuring the community is well-positioned to meet the growing demands of a connected world.

Present at the event were Frederick’s Mayor Tracie Crites, Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Brown, Frederick Board of Trustees: Windi Padia, Dan March, Mark Lamach, Frederick Town Manager Bryan Ostler, Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Town of Frederick Staff, Intrepid and ALLO personnel.

Engineering, permitting and construction in Frederick has already begun and full network completion is expected in early 2027. This effort is part of Intrepid’s broader commitment to delivering world-class broadband infrastructure to communities across the United States.
