RCI Honors Global Leaders in Sustainable Hospitality with Expanded Green Awards Program

Exchange leader honors nine resorts driving sustainable tourism across three global regions

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RCI®, the world’s leading vacation exchange company, commemorated Earth Day by announcing the nine affiliate resorts honored in its annual RCI® Green Awards program.

Each year, the RCI Green Awards celebrates the RCI-affiliated resorts leading the pack in environmentally sustainable resort operations practices. This year's winners showcase innovations in plastic-free operations, regenerative tourism approaches, and technology-driven resource management.

The fourteenth annual RCI Green Awards also marks a significant milestone, expanding to recognize exceptional environmental stewardship across three distinct global regions (the United States, Latin America/Caribbean, and Europe/Middle East/Africa/Asia Pacific). This evolution reflects growing worldwide commitment to sustainable practices within the vacation ownership industry.

“We’re continually inspired by the innovative sustainability practices our resort affiliates are embracing around the world,” said Juan Ignacio Rodriguez, Managing Director of RCI. “That’s why we’re excited to expand the RCI Green Awards with new regional categories that highlight how properties are adapting responsible tourism principles to meet their unique environmental challenges. Congratulations to all the winners for their outstanding efforts to safeguard their local ecosystems while delivering exceptional vacation experiences for our owners and guests.”
