Washington Gastroenterology Launches New Website

TACOMA, Wash.--()--Washington Gastroenterology has recently launched its new website, www.washgi.com. This site is intended to provide valuable information and useful resources to patients, family members/caregivers, and the community.

“This website is an extension of our practice, and an important asset for us, as consumers are increasingly researching and finding healthcare providers online”

Some of the patient-focused features include a link to the online Patient Portal, where patients can interact with the practice at their convenience. The new site includes a “Request for Appointment” function in which users can submit information - over a secure, encrypted connection - to request an appointment with the provider, location and time that works best for them. Patients can also download forms which will save time during their appointment. Future enhancements include downloadable educational content, expanded search functionality and maps, and updates to navigation.

The user interface was designed to be contemporary and easy to navigate, both on desktop and mobile devices. Visitors should be able to access the information they need quickly, through a visually pleasing look and feel.

“This website is an extension of our practice, and an important asset for us, as consumers are increasingly researching and finding healthcare providers online,” said Nick Goralsky, Chief Operating Officer. “We want to make sure the site is an effective and efficient tool for our patients, and they get value from its content, within an easy-to-navigate, streamlined interface.”

Washington Gastroenterology, the largest GI practice in Washington state, is committed to the digestive health and quality of life of their patients and their community. At each and every touchpoint, both in person and online, Washington Gastroenterology works to communicate this focus in a way that is meaningful and beneficial.

The new website can be found at www.washgi.com.
