PORTLAND, Ore.--()--Abom, Inc., manufacturer of the world’s first anti-fogging heated goggles with integrated rechargeable batteries, announces the newest addition to its line of products, the ABOM HEET AR/VR goggle anti-fog solution. The HEET features the second generation of ABOM’s award-winning heated goggle technology, improving upon the brand’s patented ABOM® technology with improvements made specifically for integration and optimization for immersive, augmented and reality device market.

ABOM is demonstrating its technology starting today in its exhibitor booth at the Augmented World Expo (AWE) in Santa Clara, CA. AWE is the world’s #1 AR+VR conference and expo with annual dates in the USA, Asia and Europe.

ABOM AR/VR goggle solution is a purpose built eyewear system that incorporates ABOM’s patented technology which makes it impossible for fog to survive on the inner surface of the eyewear. ABOM’s technology uses an ultra-low power thin-film technology with a transparent, conductive layer sandwiched in the lenses.

ABOM AR/VR thin-film technology is designed to optimize battery life while delivering maximum power conservation. The ABOM HEET goggle features an integrated custom microcontroller that manages power to the system from the two integrated, internal lithium-ion batteries, which are rechargeable utilizing the standard Micro-USB port. The goggle battery life before recharge is up to six hours in the Always-On mode and up to several days in the On-Demand mode providing completely fog-free optics for AR/VR users.
