HealthPrize and West Extend Connected Health Partnership

The two companies extend their collaboration to integrate West’s drug delivery systems with HealthPrize’s digital adherence and engagement platform

NORWALK, Conn.--()--HealthPrize Technologies, LLC, and West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE: WST), today announced the renewal of their strategic collaboration to provide connected health solutions to life science companies and the patients they serve. The partnership, established in 2014, integrates West’s injectable drug delivery systems with HealthPrize’s digital adherence and engagement platform. Together, the electronically connected systems track when patients take their medication, help to educate patients about their disease and medication and use that information to reward patients for taking their medication as prescribed.

Integration of the HealthPrize platform with West drug delivery systems produces useful adherence data that provides pharmaceutical companies with meaningful trend and analytics data. The companies have also worked to provide a universal solution, that can be adapted for non-electronic devices, and allows data transfer to the engagement platform via smart labels, RFID/NFC and Quick Response code scanning.
