SHARE Sacramento Event to Feature Diverse Education

Event will showcase top names in enterprise IT through 500+ technical sessions, hands-on labs and the Technology Exchange Expo

CHICAGO--()--Hundreds of enterprise technology experts will gather to learn the latest advances in software and network among peers during SHARE® Sacramento, March 11-16, at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, Calif. The event features a Developer meet-up on Tuesday, more than 500 educational sessions and the SHARE Technology Exchange Expo (STE).

The diverse educational agenda for SHARE Sacramento will feature technical sessions and hands-on labs focusing on a range of topics including: Pervasive Encryption, Security in the Enterprise, DevOps, the latest on IBM Z® and Cloud as a Disruptive Technology. Attendees also have the opportunity to participate SHARE Academy March 11 which offers a class focused on Modern COLBOL Development.

The event will also feature more than 50 exhibitors at the SHARE Technology Exchange Expo, including IBM, Rocket, Micro Focus, CA Technologies, Dell EMC, BMC, IntelliMagic, and Luminex among others.

Carey Lohrenz, the first female F-14 Tomcat Fighter in the U.S. Navy, will kick off the week with a keynote presentation on Monday, March 12, showcasing her expertise in delivering engaging leadership, high performing organizations and diversity training that directly impacts a company ROI and bottom line. On Tuesday, individuals can learn how the world’s largest organizations will be vulnerable to significant data breaches without focusing on the importance of education and transparency. During this presentation, renowned mainframe hackers Phil Young and Chad Rikansrud will share tips from moving the discussion beyond the grass roots to all those who can contribute to mainframe security, as well as some tips for addressing top security issues.
