Cybera Grows its Management Team with the Addition of Seasoned Technology Sales and Channel Leaders

New Hires Board as Cybera Continues Rapid Expansion

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Cybera, the leader in application-based SD-WAN services, today announced the addition of two seasoned executives to its management team. Jeff Manning, former vice president of sales at Cradlepoint, is now executive vice president of worldwide sales and channels. Jayesh Patel, who led business development efforts in the cloud and service provider segments at Brocade, is now senior vice president of business development. Manning and Patel will lead efforts to expand the Cybera customer base and grow the partner ecosystem, including resellers, service providers and technology partners, to increase value to its customers as the company continues its rapid expansion into new markets and geographies.

“Application networking for remote locations is hard. There are unique challenges and requirements that large enterprise branch sites just don’t have”

Cybera enables business for distributed enterprises, including retail and hospitality, healthcare, financial services and other key verticals with many remote locations. Its application-based SD-WAN services are cloud-based and purpose-built for the specific needs of widely distributed enterprises and IoT devices. The Cybera platform is delivered by both Cybera and its partners as a managed service that future-proofs the business with the ability to securely deploy new applications across thousands of remote sites at a disruptive pace, including loyalty programs, omni-channel, IoT, payment, back office applications and more.

“Application networking for remote locations is hard. There are unique challenges and requirements that large enterprise branch sites just don’t have,” said Andrew Lev, CEO at Cybera. “That’s why we do things differently. We’re purpose-built in the cloud for the widely distributed enterprise. Today, our 1200+ customers have Cybera deployed in production at more than 80,000 business locations, supporting hundreds of thousands of application services and IoT devices, including the world’s largest SD-WAN deployment with 16,000+ locations. The addition of Jeff and Jayesh to our team will allow us to expand our footprint more aggressively, add value to our platform through our partner ecosystem, and bring the power of application-based SD-WAN services to distributed enterprises around the globe.”

Manning comes to Cybera following more than 20 years in the technology sector. He is a proven sales and business development leader and is tasked with expanding the Cybera global footprint. Prior to joining Cybera, Manning led sales efforts at Cradlepoint, where he was instrumental in scaling the sales organization and doubling revenue. Previous roles include sales leadership positions at Motorola and AirDefense.

“I am blown away by Cybera’s success to date and the opportunity that its cloud and application-based approach to SD-WAN represents,” said Jeff Manning, executive vice president of sales and channels at Cybera. “The widely-distributed enterprise with edge locations and devices has huge demands and is underserved. Customers are looking for an easy-to-deploy and -manage solution that is secure and extensible. Cybera, with zero-touch provisioning and its ability to enable the wide variety of our customers’ business applications to behave well under the constraints of a remote location, is uniquely positioned to meet those demands.”

Patel comes to Cybera from Brocade, where he led business development efforts in the cloud and service provider segments at Brocade. He brings more than 25 years’ experience in strategy and business development in cloud, data networking and wireless industries. Prior roles include Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at iBasis and Vice President and General Manager at Alcatel. He is tasked with forging strategic partnerships and alliances, and expansion into new markets.

“We provide our partners with a business-enabling platform to quickly deliver new customer applications and services,” said Jayesh Patel, senior vice president, business development at Cybera. “We are moving aggressively to expand our solutions ecosystem to deliver value to the marketplace, and create opportunity for our partners who would like to use Cybera as a foundation for delivering application-based SD-WAN.”

How it Works

Cybera delivers managed services that are secure, scalable and extensible. The Cybera architecture allows customers to build powerful application networks that easily integrate in customer environments to meet their needs today and in the future. The platform, delivered by Cybera and its partners, is cloud-based and purpose-built for enterprises with many remote locations and IoT devices. Unlike traditional approaches, Cybera delivers secure application networks rather than site-to-site connections and VPNs. With Cybera, each customer application gets its own secure network and is optimized and prioritized based on its business requirements, including performance and security. With zero-truck rolls and remote management, any applications that customers want and need are quickly and easily provisioned, without impacting the visible footprint of the rest of the network. This minimizes the cyber-threat profile and regulatory compliance scope of the customer environment.
