California Autism Foundation Recognizes Steven Cash Nickerson’s Fifth Consecutive Year as Platinum Donor of CAF 11th Annual Golf Classic

Fundraiser Benefits “A Better Chance” Summer School Program

RICHMOND, Calif.--()--California Autism Foundation (CAF), a leading provider of full life services to people with autism and other developmental disabilities in California, announced today the non-profit’s recognition of Steven Cash Nickerson’s fifth consecutive year as the Platinum Sponsor of CAF’s Annual Golf Classic fundraiser. The event proceeds are dedicated to supporting “A Better Chance” summer camp.

California Autism Foundation has received generous support from Steven Cash Nickerson. Nickerson is the platinum sponsor of the CAF 11th Annual Golf Classic. “With the support of Cash Nickerson, we have donated over $300,000 to the ABC School for children with autism at CAF. Last year we opened the Cash and Evie Nickerson wing at ABC School enabling enrollment to increase to 45. We are grateful for the support of the Nickersons and all our benefactors," said John Visbal, Board VP and CAF Golf Classic host.

ABC School is a non-public school that serves children and young adults from ages 6 to 22 that have autism and other developmental disabilities. ABC School offers community-based programming which provides students the opportunity to learn generalized skills that are transferable to daily real world settings in addition to the classroom environment. ABC School’s highly specialized curriculum and expertly trained staff excel in helping students achieve optimal levels of learning and independence.

Cash Nickerson is an executive, attorney and author whose most recent book, Listening As A Martial Art, was a finalist in Leadership Book of the Year in 2016. His next book, The Samurai Listener, is being published by Post Hill Press later this year. He serves as President of PDS Tech, Inc. headquartered in Irving, Texas, one of the largest technical staffing firms in the US and serves on various boards, including the Board of Trustees of Washington University in St. Louis. He and his wife Evie reside in Austin, Texas.
