The First Bancorp Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

DAMARISCOTTA, Maine--()--The Board of Directors of The First Bancorp (NASDAQ: FNLC), parent company of First National Bank, today declared a quarterly dividend of 23 cents per share. This first-quarter dividend is payable April 28, 2017, to shareholders of record as of April 6, 2017, and is equal to the regular dividend of 23 cents per share the Company paid in the past three quarters. Based on the March 22, 2017 closing price of $25.59 per share, the annualized dividend of 92 cents per share translates to a yield of 3.60%.

These strong earnings enable us to continue to reward our Shareholders with a generous dividend payout that is well above peer.
