VMUG Announces Tech Superstar Line-up for Toronto UserCon

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--The VMware User Group (VMUG) is excited to announce the line-up for the Toronto UserCon later this month. The VMUG tech line-up includes key note speakers Frank Denneman, Senior Staff Architect with VMware and Eric Wright, Tech Evangelist.

“A Closer Look at VMware Cloud on AWS”

Denneman’s session, “A Closer Look at VMware Cloud on AWS”, brings VMware’s enterprise class Software-Defined Data Center software to Amazon’s public cloud. Couple the best enterprise software with the best data center operator in the world and you get an On-demand elastically scalable private cloud deployable anywhere in the world. This session will introduce this exciting new service and examine some of the use cases and benefits of the service.

Closing keynote, Eric Wright’s session “Terraform for VMware Administrators” discusses how the next-generation environments are all about composable, Infrastructure-as-Code, orchestration, and automation. Using Terraform, an open source platform from HashiCorp, we can easily build, modify, and provide version and state management for our VMware infrastructure. You'll see how to get Terraform up and running and how to do some real use-case deployments to understand how to add value for your organization and yourself as an infrastructure admin and architect.

In addition to these speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with vendors, sponsors, and partners in the Exhibit Hall and participate in a variety of other technical sessions from VMware and community experts!
