Proxima Launches Commercial Management Services for Enhanced Real-Time Supplier Management

Uses Catalytics Technology Platform To Help Organizations Improve Supplier Relations, Maximize Value and Mitigate Risk

LONDON & CHICAGO--()--Proxima, a leading international procurement services provider, today announced the launch of its Commercial Management Solution (CMS), designed to help organizations better manage their suppliers. Delivered through the company’s Catalytics® technology platform, Proxima’s CMS collects and activates data, providing management teams with real-time insights and actionable supplier intelligence, creating a platform for enterprise-wide control that supports the wider risk, performance and value agenda.

“Our CMS was created with the understanding that supplier relationships offer the biggest opportunities for organizations, but also pose some of the greatest risks.”

The launch announcement was made at the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Annual Conference in London where Proxima is a sponsor and session presenter.

“Approximately 70-percent of revenues are spent annually with suppliers, meaning that the most significant influence on innovation, growth, reputation and brand is contracted,” said Jonathan Cooper-Bagnall, Executive Vice President and Commercial Director at Proxima. “Because there is a minimal amount of churn in the supplier network, managing those relationships is critical.”

“Catalytics leverages proprietary cloud-based technology to provide organizations with crucially important visibility across the supply base, ultimately allowing for better management of suppliers and support for business objectives,” added Simon Geale, Solutions Architect and Service Lead for Commercial Management at Proxima. “Our CMS was created with the understanding that supplier relationships offer the biggest opportunities for organizations, but also pose some of the greatest risks.”

Catalytics is a configurable technology solution that comes pre-configured with IP including a multitude of templates and control frameworks. CMS provides the tools needed to connect thousands of interactions across the business, ensures demands of regulators are met, monitors risks and provides a platform for continued innovation and organizational improvement.

“Technology alone cannot solve supplier management issues,” said Matthew Eatough, CEO of Proxima. “We help our clients identify the supplier-related business issues that need to be addressed and leverage technology to connect the multitude of interactions across the business, ensuring that the organization is properly and effectively enabled to manage suppliers.”
