Shopkick Names Former Quotient Executive as Head of Customer Success

Decades of experience with CPG, Big Box and Grocery will benefit Brand and Retailer ecosystem

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Shopkick, the indispensable app that makes everyday shopping more personal and rewarding, today announced Mike Scriven as its new Head of Customer Success. Scriven brings decades of experience driving revenue growth and other success for some of the world’s top brands and retailers, and will apply that expertise to shopkick’s premier ecosystem.

With 25 years in trade, retail and shopper marketing, Scriven’s experience spans consumer packaged goods (CPG); chain, big box and specialty retail; and e-commerce. Most recently he was vice president, client marketing at Quotient (NYSE: QUOT) (formerly Inc.), where he provided the marketing and sales tools, services, positioning, research and strategy to help the company become a leader in digital coupons.

Prior to Quotient, Scriven was a partner at Aperture Marketing Group, LLC where he successfully developed and launched new marketing programs for clients including Brinks, Budget, Clorox, DirectTV, PODS and Vonage. Before Aperture, he was the director of marketing at intelligent media delivery company Valassis for 14 years, where he was responsible for directing, training and strategy for key CPG and retail clients representing $500 million of Valassis’ revenue.

To start, Scriven will be working with shopkick’s base of household favorites, from Kellogg’s and Clorox, to Hallmark and Starbucks, connecting them in more meaningful ways to shopkick’s millions of users.

The company also recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, counting a major milestone with 20 billion kicks and $86 million in rewards delivered to users to date. Shopkick also announced new video ads and purchase kicks, further supporting the needs of its brand partners and positioning the company for continued growth into 2017.
