Celebrate the Important Relationships in Your Life with the “You & Me Bench”

Social experiment in mobile street art making its rounds throughout Philadelphia all summer long

PHILADELPHIA--()--A group of creatives, artists and community organizers in the Greater Philadelphia area have joined forces this summer to celebrate and champion the power of relationships and the importance of human connection. The “You & Me Bench” is traveling throughout Philadelphia and appearing at various locations within the city.

The “You & Me Bench,” a social experiment in mobile street art celebrates the power of meaningful relationships. Whether it’s couples, friends, siblings, families, co-workers, the bench is intended to spread positive vibes between people. The bench sparks conversations about finding new relationships; what makes enduring relationships last; and examines how relationships inspire you.

The bench will next be appearing at CCD SIPS at the Uptown Beer Garden on Wednesday, July 20. From there, it will be off Eakins Oval near the Art Museum on July 27 in conjunction with activities related to the Democratic National Convention. It often pops up unannounced and you can find out where the bench will be next by following on social media @youandmebench.
