Proskauer Represents C-III Capital Partners in its Acquisition of Resource America

NEW YORK--()--International law firm Proskauer today announced that it represented C-III Capital Partners LLC in its acquisition of Resource America, Inc. (NASDAQ: REXI). Under the terms of the agreement, Resource America stockholders will receive $9.78 per share in cash, or a total of approximately $207 million.

C-III Capital Partners is a commercial real estate services company engaged in primary and special loan servicing, loan origination, fund management, CDO management, principal investment, investment sales and multifamily property management. It is one of the largest special and primary loan servicers in the United States, responsible for more than 100 CMBS trusts comprising more than $100 billion of commercial real estate loans. The combined company will manage over $25 billion of gross assets, and own and/or manage more than 70,000 apartment units across the United States. C-III’s acquisition of Resource America’s asset management business will create a broad platform of products for retail and institutional investors.
