StarMed Announces Promotion of Cecilia Beard to Vice President

New role to fuel continued expansion of StarMed’s high-caliber contingent search offering

ST. LOUIS--()--StarMed, a nationally-recognized performance-based search firm, is proud to announce the promotion of Cecilia Beard from Managing Director to Vice President. In her new role, Beard is responsible for all strategic and operational functions of the business including, client consultation, recruiting and search process optimization, and business development.

“We are excited to continue expanding our market presence and strengthening our partnership with new and existing clients.”

StarMed specializes in delivering comprehensive contingent search services for a wide range of disciplines and specialties, including physicians, advanced practice professionals, nurses, and administrative and clinical executives. Beard’s appointment underscores StarMed’s commitment to further expanding its contingent search offerings and positioning the company for aggressive growth.

Beard brings to her role more than 15 years of recruitment leadership, collaborating with hundreds of U.S. health care organizations to build high-performing clinical and executive-level teams. With most of those years spent in executive-level, health care retained search, Beard has developed a network of top health care talent and a high-quality search process that sets StarMed apart from traditional contingent search firms.

The company believes that demand for its services continues to grow because of its ability to address one of health care executives’ most pressing priorities for 2016, which is securing clinical and leadership talent to carry out transformative initiatives, in an efficient manner that delivers proven results.

“We have exceptional relationships with many of our health care clients, who want to engage with us on the full spectrum of their clinical and managerial hiring needs,” said Beard. “We are excited to continue expanding our market presence and strengthening our partnership with new and existing clients.”

Before joining StarMed, Beard served as Director of Albertini Group, Inc., focused on executive search, and worked for health care executive and physician search firm Cejka Search for 13 years, most recently as Director, Client Services. She earned her master’s degree in Health Administration and undergraduate degree in Health Information Management from St. Louis University.
