Promapp Hires Global Channel Manager to Accelerate Global Expansion

New Zealand BPM Software Provider Opened US Office Earlier This Year

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Promapp Solutions, an industry-leading provider of cloud-based business process management (BPM) software for creating and managing business processes online, has named Vivienne Larsen as the company’s Global Channel Manager.

“the next step in Promapp’s steady global expansion strategy.”

Larsen joins Promapp with more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry, having previously worked in distribution sales and channel management. She will be responsible for driving new cloud subscription revenue opportunities in the US and globally through new and existing Promapp partners, including process consultants, consulting firms, and IT services companies.

Most recently, Larsen was New Zealand Channel Manager at Avaya, where she led, developed, and managed key reseller partnerships for the company. She previously worked at EMC as a Channel Manager, where she was focused on reseller partner development, and as Company Director and Director of Marketing at Ingram Micro/Tech Pacific New Zealand.

Ivan Seselj, CEO of Promapp Solutions, says, “We are delighted to welcome Vivienne to our team at a time when the opportunities for Promapp’s global growth continue to go from strength to strength. Her strategic management and sales experience will provide Promapp with an enormous advantage as the demand for business process management software increases and we continue our global expansion.”

Promapp opened its first US office in San Francisco earlier this year in what Seselj termed “the next step in Promapp’s steady global expansion strategy.”

Noting that US companies appear to have the same mix of process maturity as Promapp’s existing global clients, Seselj explains, “We’ve had discussions with many organizations at the beginning of their process improvement journey, as well as others who have already invested, but are looking for a better way to manage this valuable knowledge. Our target market is broad, with clients anywhere from 50 staff up to multinationals with tens of thousands of employees.”

With a 13-year history of offering mature and internationally proven business process mapping software to support process improvement, quality assurance and risk management, in line with ISO, Six Sigma and Lean principles, Promapp already numbers such marquee names as Coca-Cola Amatil, Air New Zealand, Toyota Financial Services, Fuji Xerox, McDonalds, and Ricoh among its clients. It recently added Audi Australia and Mercedes Benz Financial Services Australia.

According to Seselj, Promapp’s US team currently focuses on sales and marketing, with implementation and support handled through a partnership with the San Francisco-based Pendolino Group.

“In addition to our direct sales team, as we’ve grown, we’ve naturally developed a good partner network and we’re looking to do the same as we expand in the US,” he continues. “We partner with organizations who have won the trust of their clients by helping them to navigate the risk of a technology transformation, and through process improvement initiatives. So where our partners bring the experience and skills of people on the ground, we complement that with a proven BPM solution that helps make changes ‘stick’. It’s a formula that’s worked well for us and our partners, and most importantly, for our shared clients.”
