Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc. Increases Quarterly Dividend to $0.46 Per Share of Common Stock

NEW YORK--()--Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE:ARI) today announced the Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.46 per share of common stock, which is payable on January 15, 2016 to common stockholders of record on December 31, 2015. This is the second increase of the quarterly dividend per share of common stock in 2015, resulting in a 15% total dividend increase for the year.

Commenting on the announcement, Stuart Rothstein, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company, said: “Due to the successful execution of ARI’s business plan in 2015, as well as the continued confidence we have in ARI’s ability to execute in 2016, the Board of Directors increased the Company’s quarterly dividend per share of common stock to $0.46. ARI had a record year in 2015 with respect to capital formation and capital deployment. The resulting growth in the Company’s investment portfolio coupled with efficient capital management has contributed to an increased run rate in Operating Earnings. We are very pleased that we have been able to pass through the benefits of the Company’s success to our shareholders through two common share dividend increases in 2015.”

In addition, the Board of Directors declared a cash dividend on the Company’s 8.625% Series A Cumulative Redeemable Perpetual Preferred Stock of $0.5391 per share for the quarterly period ending on January 15, 2016. The preferred dividend is payable on January 15, 2016 to preferred stockholders of record as of December 31, 2015.
