Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to Host Congressional Briefing on Precision Medicine

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host a congressional briefing on precision medicine and the progress in developing genetically targeted therapies for cystic fibrosis. The event is being held in cooperation with Congressional Cystic Fibrosis Caucus co-chairs Representatives Tom Marino (R-PA) and Jim McGovern (D-MA).
Panelists will discuss the process for creating successful treatments for CF, the future of personalized therapies and how Congress can help advance precision medicine by supporting basic research and its translation to new therapies.
