We are thrilled we can help Team Miles keep its ITAR technical data secure here at home while it will be sending satellites to beyond the moon.

WHAT:

NASA’s Cube Quest Challenge is a $5.5 million competition to build flight-qualified, small satellites capable of advanced communication and propulsion near and beyond the moon. It is NASA’s first-ever in-space challenge. Cube Quest is part of NASA's Centennial Challenges Program, which accelerates technology by engaging non-traditional sources in competition.

ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and the related EAR (Export Administration Regulations) are export control regulations run by different departments of the US Government and designed to help ensure that defense related technology does not get into the wrong hands. ITAR is the stricter set of regulations and is for articles and technical data designed or otherwise intended for military end-use as listed or described in the United States Munitions List (USML) or the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) Annex.

The Cube Quest Challenge Virtual Summit II is conference conducted for Cube Quest teams and NASA leaders to allow for Cube Quest team reorganization, team and industry dialog, NASA leaders to learn about each team’s satellite technologies and how they may be used affordably and quickly, and informational exchanges among teams.

WHEN and WHERE: The conference is taking place November 18 - 19, 2015 in Cyberspace.
