CounterTack | MCSI Joins Nuage Networks Partner Program

WALTHAM, Mass.--()--CounterTack | MCSI, the leader in Big Data Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), will join the Nuage Networks Partner Program. CounterTack’s EDR platform, Sentinel, is among the first of security partner technologies to be certified on the Nuage Networks VSP.

“We are excited about the new partnership opportunities within the Nuage Networks Partner Program”

The news comes as Nuage Networks is expanding its partner program for enterprise security and application delivery in OpenStack environments. Sentinel will now integrate into OpenStack along with other new partners, Fortinet FortiGate-VM Virtual UTM Firewalls, GuardiCore Data Center Security Suite, Palo Alto Networks VM-Series and vArmour DSS Distributed Security System.

“We are excited about the new partnership opportunities within the Nuage Networks Partner Program,” said Neal Creighton, CEO, CounterTack. “Now, joint customers of the participating security technology companies will be able to enhance the security of their network operations and gain greater endpoint threat visibility with Sentinel, in addition to the other services and solutions within Nuage Networks ecosystem.”

“There are four rising trends we’ve been following that have the potential to permanently take the advantage away from the attackers, enabled by advances in big data and analytics in the past few years – and this partnership combines them all,” said Adrian Sanabria, Senior Security Analyst, Research. “Increasing visibility through CounterTack’s ability to enable real-time-forensic-level endpoint monitoring provides detection capabilities we’ve never had before. Leveraging SDN and NFV makes it possible to leverage automation and the principle of least privilege to drive dynamic network security policies – micro-segmentation would be unfeasible to manage otherwise. The combination of integration between the two, along with automation, allows for incident response workflows never before possible. The result is a defender’s dream: detect a compromise, block the attacker’s source, quarantine the host, and replace it with a clean one automatically - all within seconds."
