Growth Summit 2015

BOSTON--()--VentureBeat has partnered with the Ad Club of Boston for a competition to determine Greater Boston's top Chief Marketing Officers. Nominations are now open. VentureBeat, the Ad Club of Boston and the rest of the judges will be evaluating nominations in the next few weeks. The top 20 will be honored during GrowthBeat Summit, VentureBeat's invitation-only CMO conference happening in Boston, June 1-2, featuring the Boston Red Sox, Harvard University, Xerox, Zipcar, Formula 1, plus 180 of New England's most creative CMOs and tech-savvy executives.

“With only 180 attendees and a strict invite-only policy, Growth Summit event offers a rare chance to strategize and learn from CMO peers who are driving positive change for their organizations and faced with the same challenges as you”

Nominees will ideally be CMOs, but VentureBeat recognizes that not every leading marketer carries that title. Other titles will be considered — VPs of Marketing, Chief Digital Officers, and so on — but the candidate should carry the growth mandate for their companies and also rank as their company's top marketer.

Criteria:

The judges are seeking marketers have achieved impressive growth by:

  1. articulating a well-honed and creative “story” for their company’s product
  2. leveraging technology to have the right conversations with the right customers in the right channels

Nominations are open until May 18. VentureBeat will then announce the leading nominations. The panel of experts — made up of Matt Marshall, CEO VentureBeat; Kathy Kiely, President, Ad Club of Boston; Joshua Macht, Publisher, Harvard Business Review; John Koetsier, VP of Research, VentureBeat, among others — will chose the winners based on careful consideration of votes and accompanying supporting evidence.
