Introducing iFetch Too: Bigger Dogs, Bigger Balls

iFetch Too wins second place at Global Pet Expo 2015, beating out 500+ dog products for major prize;

Grandfather-Grandson inventor team add second, bigger automatic ball launcher to lineup

AUSTIN, Texas--()--Since February 2014, little dogs around the world have been joyfully exhausting themselves with the iFetch – the award-winning ball launcher for fetch-loving dogs. Today, after winning second place at Global Pet Expo 2015, iFetch announced that their newest product, iFetch Too, will be launching a Kickstarter campaign in April and should be available by summer 2015. While the original iFetch launches miniature tennis balls (1.5”/40 mm in diameter), iFetch Too is designed to launch regular sized tennis balls up to 45 feet, making it the perfect playtime companion for some of the world’s best-known fetching breeds, including Labradors, golden retrievers, and Australian shepherds.

“We’re so excited that people love it so much. It really is a dream come true.”

It’s easy to train your dog to play with the iFetch or the iFetch Too, giving him a chance to get plenty of exercise when you’re busy or while you’re away. Compared to the original iFetch, which was designed primarily for indoor use, the iFetch Too, with its longer launch distances, will be more appropriate for outdoor use (unless you have a very large living room).

The iFetch was invented by the Hamill family in Austin, Texas when their son Grant was trying to do his homework, but their little dog Prancer wanted to keep playing fetch. Grant and his grandfather, Denny, turned Prancer’s fetch-obsessed ways into a multi-generational family project. A few prototypes later, iFetch became one of the most successful pet products on Kickstarter and won Best in Show at Superzoo 2013. International acclaim for the original iFetch (now available in 21 countries around the world) encouraged the Hamill family to create iFetch Too. “Since releasing the original iFetch, we have literally gotten thousands of e-mails from pet parents around the world asking us to make a bigger version for bigger dogs,” said Denny Hamill after winning the second place prize at Global Pet Expo. “We’re so excited that people love it so much. It really is a dream come true.”
