Freedom Innovations Names Joshua Saipe Senior Vice President, Corporate and Business Development

IRVINE, Calif.--()--Freedom Innovations, an Irvine, California based leader in advanced technology prosthetic devices for lower limb amputees, today announced that Joshua Saipe has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development.

Mr. Saipe brings over 14 years of healthcare, transactional, and strategic experience to the leadership team of Freedom. He was most recently a Principal with Health Evolution Partners (HEP), and a member of HEP’s Life Sciences Team. At HEP, Mr. Saipe focused on investing in middle market companies in the medical technology, specialty pharmaceutical, drug delivery, and outsourced services sectors. He also served as a member of Freedom’s board of directors, as well as the board of directors of Prolacta Bioscience. Prior to HEP, Mr. Saipe was a Vice President at RoundTable Healthcare Partners, a healthcare private equity firm, and he started his career in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan Securities.

In this new role at Freedom, Mr. Saipe will focus on corporate growth initiatives and strategy. In particular, this will include acquisitions, licensing, corporate partnerships, technology collaborations, strategic relationships, as well as geographic, product, and service line expansion opportunities.
