Granite Donates $1 Million Across Five Charitable Organizations

Provider of communications services celebrates $1 billion revenue milestone by giving back

QUINCY, Mass.--()--Granite Telecommunications, LLC, a provider of voice, data, networking, and other communications services, announced today it is donating $1 million across five charitable organizations in celebration of its achievement of reaching $1 billion in annualized revenue. The charities were presented their donations at a special ceremony today at Granite headquarters.

“Each of the nominations we received was so thoughtful in making a case for incredible charitable organizations doing so many great things. The five selected are very near and dear to our employees’ hearts and that makes these donations even more meaningful.”

Granite’s 1,200 employees were asked to nominate charities that “make a difference.” More than 75 charities were nominated, and five will receive a share of a $1 million donation from Granite. Once the top five were selected, Granite employees were asked to choose their charity of choice from among those five, which determined how the $1 million was allocated.

“While Granite as a company is very proud to reach this billion-dollar achievement, we are even prouder of our employees as they embrace the spirit of giving back to the community,” said Rob Hale, Granite CEO. “Each of the nominations we received was so thoughtful in making a case for incredible charitable organizations doing so many great things. The five selected are very near and dear to our employees’ hearts and that makes these donations even more meaningful.”
