Dr. John R. Hall to Serve as Featured Panelist at Educause 2014

Hall, III, Ed.D., Chief Executive Officer, will be a featured panelist at the Educause 2014 Annual Conference, an industry-leading event to “advance higher education through the use of information technology.”

Dr. Hall will serve on the panel entitled, “The On-Demand Model for Higher Education: Providing Education as a Service across Colleges and Universities,” which will explore how data is utilized to reflect student learning preferences and the most effective ways to empower models of engagement to positively impact growth, retention and financial security.

“It is imperative that we adapt learning delivery models to support students’ individual learning preferences, and educational technology has the power to provide customized experiences that enhance engagement throughout the student lifecycle,” said Dr. Hall. “Instilling confidence in higher education is a function of instilling confidence in students’ ability to succeed, and understanding how to use data to achieve positive outcomes is key to obtaining the best ROI for institutions.”

Dr. Hall has been integrally involved in the education management, direct response and customer relationship management industries since 1992 and is a trusted advisor to university presidents across the U.S. on various higher education issues. He co-founded Greenwood Hall in 1998, which has become a leader in supporting colleges and universities throughout the United States in all areas of the student lifecycle. Dr. Hall also is a published author and inspirational speaker about Autism and the education of children with special needs. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Roosevelt University and continues to mentor college-ready high school students at the Roybal Education Center in downtown Los Angeles. Dr. Hall received a Doctorate in Education from the University of Southern California. He also received a B.A. in Political Science and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

The panel will be held September 30 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. in meeting room W311E at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
