MCLEAN, Va.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Alion Science and Technology, a global engineering, technology and operational solutions company, today announced the appointment of Rod Riddick to Manager of the company’s Engineering and Integration Solutions Sector (EISS). Mr. Riddick succeeds retiring Vice Admiral Scott Fry (USN, Ret.) in this position.

As Sector Manager, Mr. Riddick will lead a business unit that delivers improved capabilities to the U.S. Navy, international navies and commercial businesses worldwide. The Sector delivers solutions for ship design and engineering, acquisition and production management, and lifecycle support.
Mr. Riddick joined Alion in 2005, first as Manager of the company’s Integrated Solutions Group, then as Deputy Sector Manager for EISS. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of the Acquisition and Production Support Operation with John J. McMullen Associates, an internationally regarded ship design and engineering firm.
