NEW YORK & BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sterne Agee, one of the oldest and largest privately held financial services firms in the country, today announced the expansion of the fixed income division with the addition of three employees, Dan Ladley, Ron Pimental and Alan Stentiford.

Ladley, Pimental and Stentiford have joined Sterne Agee’s Fixed Income Division as a part of the Sterne Agee Execution Solutions team. The trio will provide liquidity and global execution services to a wide range of clients with a particular focus on servicing transition brokers, private clients, middle-market and clearing clients. The Execution Solutions Team will be based in Sterne Agee’s New York office.

Ron Pimental joins Sterne Agee from JP Morgan with over 25 years of Global Fixed Income sales and trading experience. At JP Morgan, he served as Head of Fixed Income in Trading Service which was part of their Treasury and Security Service business. He joined JP Morgan in 2008 after the purchase of Bear Stearns. He spent three years with Bear Stearns, and prior to that role, he was a founding partner of First Principle Securities. Previously, Ron held positions at BNY Brokerage and DLJ.
Dan Ladley also joins Sterne Agee from JP Morgan where he was part of the Fixed Income sales and trading group focused on Transition, ETF and Broker Dealer clients. He joined JP Morgan after the purchase of Bear Stearns. Previous to these positions he worked at First Principle where he managed the Fixed Income middle office and operations department and assisted in trading when necessary. Prior to First Principle, Dan served as the Fixed Income Middle Office Manager for domestic and international trading at BNY Brokerage. Dan began his career at DLJ-Autranet where he ultimately became Fixed Income Operations Manager.
Alan Stentiford has over 25 years of Fixed Income sales and trading experience and joins Sterne from JP Morgan (Bear Stearns) where he spent 8 years focusing on trading and developing analytics for Transition trading and ETFs. Alan served as the firm’s “Trading Solutions Desk.” Prior to that, he spent two years at First Principal. Previously, Alan focused on transition and “soft dollar” trading at both BNY Brokerage and DLJ-Autranet. From 1988 to 1991, he served as a financial advisor to the Niarchos family at Transoceanic Marine. Alan began his career at Citicorp Investment Bank in their sales and trading division.
