ATLANTA--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Fire Inc Atlanta, a specialized sales and marketing firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, recently volunteered with Wyatt’s Warriors to support the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta (DSAA), a leading nonprofit organization that seeks to enhance the lives of individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
“Volunteering with an organization like DSAA allows our team to give back to the community in a fun, productive way”
The annual Buddy Walk, established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to promote inclusion and acceptance of people with Down syndrome, was held in Centennial Olympic Park this year. By participating in the walk, the company donated more than 160 hours combined with a team of more than 20 people.
“Volunteering with an organization like DSAA allows our team to give back to the community in a fun, productive way,” said Malcolm Elavia, president of Fire Inc Atlanta. “We were happy to come out and raise money to benefit those served by this organization, especially because one of my colleague’s children has Down syndrome.”
Fire Inc Atlanta has previously helped the community by volunteering and raising money for Operation Smile, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as the Publix Georgia Marathon and has set future philanthropic goals of helping additional community outreach programs.
