Mr. Fokin, previously held various executive and board positions in large and medium-size business, will be leading IXcellerate’s expanding operations in the Russian market.

Mr Fokin’s business career spans over 15 years and his first acquaintance with Telco and IT industries occurred in late 1990s during audit engagements at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Dmitry was educated in the USA and has international working experience across America, Russia and CIS.

About Dmitry Fokin
Dmitry Fokin has over 15 years of business experience, combining US education with work experience in the USA, Russia and CIS. As part of his experience, Dmitry was involved in Special Situations management and provided leadership in fast-growth environments. As the CEO of Capital Collection Agency, Dmitry executed company-wide turnaround program and performed acquisition of a leading competitor from Societe Generale group. Working as the CFO in portfolio companies of Alfa Group Consortium, Dmitry successfully built new teams, developed business strategies and raised funding to execute them. He worked directly with CEO and CFO at Golden Telecom on M&A projects and long-term business planning prior to merger between Golden Telecom and Vimpelcom.
