NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--William Lyon Homes (the “Company”) (NYSE: WLH) today announced the expansion of its business in Colorado, under the Village Homes brand, with the purchase of 221 homesites at the master-planned Southshore community in Aurora, Colorado.

Village Homes will build 20 plans across four collections of homes in the Southshore community. Homes will range from 1,800 to 4,100 square feet and include a variety of styles including lakefront cottage, prairie, craftsman, farmhouse, colonial and Victorian. Construction on 10 model homes will begin later this year, and homes should be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2014.
