CHICAGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional service organizations, today announced that Brian Eccleston, William Eisig, Scott Hendon and Brad Schrupp have each been elected to three year terms to the firm’s board of directors. Mr. Eisig is a new director, while the others were re-elected to a new term of service. These changes to the board are effective November 1.

Brian J. Eccleston, 54, is a partner and Assurance Managing Partner for the Northeast Region. Based in BDO’s New York office, he has more than 30 years of public accounting experience, practicing in both the United States and Canada. Throughout his career, Brian has worked with public and private clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail and service, both public and private entities. He is a member of BDO’s Capital Markets Practice and has been involved in frequent consultations regarding acquisitions and divestitures and other topics unique to the international arena. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Brian is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Bill Eisig, 50, is a partner and Assurance Managing Partner for the Atlantic Region. Based in BDO’s Greater Washington DC office, he has more than 25 years of public accounting experience serving clients in a variety of industries including media, publishing, sports and entertainment, governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. He is the Industry Group Leader of the firms Nonprofit and Higher Education Practice and serves on the Firm’s Information Technology Advisory Council. He is also BDO’s representative with the AICPA’s Government Audit Quality Center. Bill recently completed four years on the Board of Directors at the Greater Washington Society of CPA’s and currently serves on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Executive Leadership Team for the Greater DC Light the Night Walks. Bill graduated from the University of Maryland and serves on the University’s Advisory Board at the Smith School of Business.
Scott Hendon, 53, is a partner and Tax Managing Partner for BDO’s Southwest Region. Based in the firm's Dallas office, Scott serves as the firm’s U.S. representative on the BDO International Tax Advisory Committee. He has more than 28 years of experience providing tax consulting services to a wide range of energy, high tech, manufacturing, distribution, and retail clients. A member of the firm’s National Private Equity Practice and Transactional Advisory Services Group, Scott has extensive experience providing structuring and due diligence services for portfolio company acquisitions. Scott received his B.B.A. from Hamline University and his Masters in Taxation from Texas Tech.
Brad Schrupp, 55, is a partner and Assurance Managing Partner for BDO’s Los Angeles Practice. He has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and auditing, with an emphasis on working with growth-type companies in the entertainment, technology, real estate, and manufacturing/distribution industries. As one of the leaders of the firm’s Entertainment Industry Practice, Brad works with businesses in motion pictures, television, new media, music, video and post-production. He has been involved in royalty, participation and distribution examinations of many of the major studios. Brad worked in Hong Kong for 3 years, as a member of BDO’s Asia-Pacific practice group and focused on corporate finance projects. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Brad is a member of the AICPA and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
