SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Exosun, a leading provider of solar tracking systems and plant engineering services, today announced the UL compliancy of its horizontal single-axis tracker, the Exotrack HZ.
“These exemplary results validate Exosun’s commitment to bringing bankable, high performance tracking solutions to the utility solar sector”
Upon completion of extensive testing, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), an accredited nationally recognized testing laboratory, confirmed the Exotrack HZ to be in accordance with UL 3703 standards pertaining to solar trackers. This corresponds with UL 2703 for fixed-tilt structures. Exosun is the first solar tracking company to earn this certification.
The Exotrack HZ also recently completed rigorous wind testing with leading engineering and consulting firm CPP, Inc. to assess the product’s design durability and reliability in turbulent wind conditions.
On the heels of Exosun establishing its U.S. office and local executive team, this news reinforces the company’s focus on building its presence in the North American market.
Optimized for utility-scale solar plants, the Exotrack HZ can deliver up to 25 percent more output than fixed-tilt systems while remaining as fast and simple to install. Exosun’s proprietary, high-quality and low maintenance design is built to last more than 25 years. The Exotrack HZ also benefits from an innovative centralized control system, ensuring efficient system operation.
“These exemplary results validate Exosun’s commitment to bringing bankable, high performance tracking solutions to the utility solar sector,” said Frédéric Conchy, Chief Executive Officer and Co- Founder of Exosun. “With more than 150 MW under our belt in Europe and abroad, we are well equipped to serve the budding North American market, where customers are looking for risk-averse methods to increase system output and accelerate project ROI.”
Exosun’s Exotrack HZ will be on display at Solar Power International, being held October 21-24 in Chicago, Ill. Interested attendees can view a demonstration unit at booth #4416.
