CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Consumer Assistance Project (www.ConsumerAssistanceProject.org) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization whose main focus is the elimination and reduction of all types of student loan debt.
As part of the Consumer Assistance Project’s ongoing commitment to educate and empower consumers, we offer credit report correction services to all members who complete our student loan debt elimination program. The purpose of this member-inclusive feature is to ensure that information contained in our members’ credit report is accurate and up-to-date.
A review of each member’s credit report will be performed to identify any mistakes and possible fraud. All members who complete our program will be given the advantage of this service as entries on these reports are often inaccurate, reported improperly, overlooked, uncontested, or misunderstood.
Once a credit report is reviewed, each member will be advised of any questionable, inaccurate, or suspicious entries on the reports from the three main credit reporting agencies - Experian®, Equifax® and TransUnion®. Each reporting agency collects and records information in different ways and may not have identical information regarding credit history. The Consumer Assistance Project will then make the necessary contact and file the appropriate documents in order to facilitate the desired correction to the credit summary.
Examining and correcting the credit reports of our members increases consumer awareness, giving them the knowledge of what lenders, employers and others will see when their credit is reviewed. The full range of services offered by the Consumer Assistance Project is structured to give our members the opportunity to experience improved financial balance and stability upon concluding our program.
