ATLANTA--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Online Banking Solutions (OBS) today unveiled Messenger Mobile Tablet, a mobile application that will bring business customers of its Financial Institution clients the power and features of the OBS Messenger Financial Center©, wherever and whenever those customers require it.
“Leveraging our deep experience with cash management, business banking, payments and technology, OBS is focused on providing secure, competitive ebanking and mobile solutions to commercial banks, community banks and credit unions.”
Messenger Mobile Tablet will be launched at the AFP Annual Conference in Las Vegas on October 28th and will be commercially available later this year. The initial release will be for iOS platforms, with an Android version planned for early 2014.
OBS Chief Technology Officer Scott Graf pointed out that Messenger Mobile Tablet users will enjoy both mobility and an intuitive experience using the newly designed user interface to obtain information and employ payment services.
Messenger Financial Center is a comprehensive business e-banking platform that supports real-time account and transaction reporting, e-statement delivery, stop payments, positive pay, account transfers and initiation of ACH transactions and wire transfers. The platform also features secure messaging, file transfer, a receiver-based payments model, and fully integrated behavioral analytics.
The Messenger Financial Center/Messenger Mobile Tablet combination is an ASP service that uses private cloud technologies to enable multiple online delivery channels and tight security.
Graf said, “We’re now able to extend our full product set to mobile devices and to offer interoperability among our channels. Payments can be initiated using the Mobile Tablet application or a payment initiated over the web can be reviewed and approved using the Mobile Tablet. This is great for one of our target segments, the underserved mobile business market. It’s another example of how we are striving to provide ebanking for all business.”
Dan Myers, CEO and founder of OBS, added, “Leveraging our deep experience with cash management, business banking, payments and technology, OBS is focused on providing secure, competitive ebanking and mobile solutions to commercial banks, community banks and credit unions.”
