In addition to a host of new educational programs and unique, interactive sessions, SATCON 2013 will feature an impressive line-up of presentations, including a featured keynote titled, Leadership Dialogue: Present Priorities, Future Visions, highlighting trends shaping technology, markets and business in the future.

SATCON brings together leaders from around the industry to deliver insight and information on emerging technologies in the world of satellite-enabled communications. Attendees benefit from unique collaborative efforts between SATCON organizers and key leaders in industry sectors such as broadcast, media & entertainment, telcos & ISPs and maritime & shipping, among others, who provide insights on what’s trending in each space and how these trends will shape the future of satellite communications.
Throughout the two days, conference-goers will participate in sessions that cover topics such as the latest developments in newsgathering capabilities, how content is now shifting distribution platforms in broadcast media, and how satellite communications are pushing the envelope and leveraging Moore’s Law. Sessions will be led by a variety of leaders and experts in the media and telecommunications industry, including, Wendy Allen, VP Media Engineering at Fox, Mel Olinsky, Director of Operations at CBS News and Chris Ehrenbard, Director of Broadcast Distribution at CBS.
