“Our EOC is built for the future of ALPR and the delicate challenges that come along with deploying our technology”
Automatic License Plate Reader technology has brought privacy issues to light. Certain states have ruled that this information is public knowledge and does not constitute a privacy breach. “ELSAG’s new EOC provides Law Enforcement agencies with the flexibilities to set parameters that are in line with agency policy,” said Nate Maloney, ELSAG’s VP of Marketing and Communications. “We’ve made enhancements to our EOC software that will help agencies find that balance by automatically supporting unique protocols regarding data use and access.”
The EOC will now aid Law Enforcement with multi-level permissions, hot list flexibility, detailed mapping, data merging and extensive reporting, plus an audit trail that keeps track of who is accessing the data and what searches are conducted. “Our EOC is built for the future of ALPR and the delicate challenges that come along with deploying our technology,” said Maloney.
