The theatre was founded in 1975 and now is Saint Paul’s top employer of local stage talent. Park Square Theatre’s education program engages one of Minnesota’s two largest teen theatre audiences and has taken a leading role as a producer of contemporary plays.
Dr. Bosacker has been a physician for 15 years and during that time served on active duty in the U.S. Navy, treated patients in many settings, and mentored and taught medical students. She also appeared frequently as a medical expert on national news media, including NBC, Fox Television and The Dr. Oz Show.
As associate medical director for Securian Financial Group, Dr. Bosacker provides counsel to underwriters and claims personnel, directs the company’s occupational medicine department, and helps design wellness programs for Securian employees. She also teaches at the University of Minnesota’s family medicine residency program. Dr. Bosacker received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University.
Gretchen Bosacker has volunteered with many community groups, including Fairview Lakes Hospital as a board member, the Twin Cities Medical Director Association, the Health Care Auxiliary of Minnesota, and the emergency medical team for the Twin Cities Marathon.
She and her husband have five children including two-year-old twins.
