ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) has named ISACA Acting CEO Ron Hale, Ph.D., CISM, to the 2013 Directorship 100 in the Governance Institutions and Individuals category.

Each year, NACD identifies the most influential people in the boardroom community, including directors, corporate governance experts, journalists, regulators and advisors. The Directorship 100 recognizes those who participate in board work and those who influence how that work is done.
Inductees are selected based on criteria that reflect NACD’s standards of director professionalism, including integrity, mature confidence, informed judgment and high performance standards.
2013 marks Hale’s ninth year at ISACA. In addition to serving as the association’s acting CEO, Hale is ISACA’s chief knowledge officer and leads the association’s research and knowledge development efforts related to governance, assurance, security and risk management, including the COBIT framework. He has a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Illinois and a doctorate in public policy from the Walden University School of Public Policy and Administration.
