CHICAGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP is pleased to announce that partner Anthony S. Gabrielson was selected as one of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s “40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch.” Mr. Gabrielson was selected from more than 1,300 nominees, based on the Law Bulletin’s annual survey of attorneys to identify this year’s most talented young lawyers in Illinois. Mr. Gabrielson was lauded by his clients and peers who noted their respect for his “personality, practicality and extensive knowledge of intellectual property issues.”
“I am proud to congratulate Anthony on his well-deserved recognition among the ‘40 Illinois Attorneys Under 40 to Watch’”
“Anthony has a unique ability to combine legal experience and sound judgment with creativity, enthusiasm, energy and dedication that makes him not only an effective advocate, but also someone who grows more integrated and invested in the needs of his clients over time,” said a nominator who serves as chief litigation counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation.
Additionally, an attorney who worked with Mr. Gabrielson on several patent cases in the Eastern District of Texas said he has found Mr. Gabrielson to be “incredibly intelligent, hard-working and a remarkably skilled lawyer.”
“[Anthony] is quick to suggest unique solutions to problems and always finds a way to accomplish a task in the most efficient manner possible. I have often thought if I were a client needing representation, Anthony is the kind of lawyer I would want on my team,” he said.
Mr. Gabrielson has developed extensive experience in all phases of intellectual property litigation and has consistently demonstrated his ability to skillfully protect clients’ business and legal interests in patent infringement matters involving technologies spanning computer software and hardware, e-commerce and web interfaces, fiber optic video networks and consumer products, among others. He has counseled some of the nation’s largest companies, has served as lead trial counsel on numerous federal and state court litigation matters, and also advises on the ever-developing areas of eDiscovery and management of electronically stored information.
Mr. Gabrielson is a committed pro bono advocate, performing noteworthy work for Lawyers for the Creative Arts, a non-profit organization providing free legal service to all areas of the arts. He is active in several professional groups and is in his fourth year of serving as Chair of the Membership Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC).
