LOS ANGELES--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Aspiriant (www.aspiriant.com) Chief Executive Officer, Rob Francais and Director of Planning, Sandi Bragar have been named to Barron’s 2013 list of the “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors.” Francais was ranked #25 and Bragar was ranked #38, one of the top-ranked women on the list. This is the financial magazine’s seventh annual ranking of top independent advisors.
“Everything we do is driven by our clients’ financial objectives. It is highly rewarding to receive this honor.”
“To be distinguished by Barron’s for my contributions and that of Aspiriant’s on behalf of our clients is validation that we are delivering on our commitment and fiduciary responsibility to those who have placed their trust in us,” said Francais.
“Our mission is to enhance our clients’ lives by creating and implementing personal wealth strategies that meet their unique, individual goals,” added Bragar. “Everything we do is driven by our clients’ financial objectives. It is highly rewarding to receive this honor.”
To be nominated for the listing, advisors must complete a 102-question survey about their practice. The resulting pool of nominated advisors is then screened to determine the top 100 practitioners. The editors at Barron’s focus on total assets under management and revenue generated by the advisor’s team, as well as the overall quality of the practice. Investment performance is not an explicit criterion, because clients’ investment goals vary. In many cases, the objective is preservation of wealth, rather than market-trouncing returns.
“Barron’s goal in publishing its rankings is to shine a spotlight on the best advisors with an eye toward raising standards in the industry,” said Ed Finn, editor and president of Barron’s.
