ARLINGTON, Va.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sapient Government Services, part of Sapient® (NASDAQ: SAPE), announced today the award of a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide Performance Management/ Continuous Process Improvement (PM/ CPI) and strategic business related analyses for all federal agencies. The five-year, multi-award BPA has an estimated value of $300 million to support the Federal Government’s ability to deliver strategic sourcing, continuous improvement and performance management.

For the BPA, Sapient formed a contractor teaming arrangement (CTA), with partners including: Censeo Consulting Group, CSC, Hitachi Consulting, Mission Measurement, and Team Catapult. The CTA also includes partnerships with Darden School of Business at University of Virginia and the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.

The GSA BPA allows the delivery of better value of services by the Federal government through performance management, continuous process improvement, and a streamlined acquisition process. The overarching objective of the BPA is to equip agency officials with performance management, and process improvement tools and best practices which will enhance enterprise performance, institutional adaptation and organizational effectiveness.
