BALTIMORE--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--CEOs want coaching and leadership advice from outside executive coaches; however, less than one-third receive it, a new study out by Stanford University reports. And yet, while CEOs are in desperate need of coaching and have money to spend, executive coaches fail to connect with the very executives who need their services the most. And even more disappointingly, the vast majority of executive coaches - whose skills are so in demand - aren’t even earning six-figure salaries. Angelique Rewers, founder of The Corporate Agent – a strategic consulting firm based in Maryland, is stepping in to fill the gap.
“Corporations present a huge opportunity for coaches, and corporate executives are begging to be coached”
“Corporations present a huge opportunity for coaches, and corporate executives are begging to be coached,” says Angelique Rewers – the number one expert on selling to corporations, and the owner of The Corporate Agent. “If coaches only knew how to package their services and sell them to corporations the right way, we’d quickly begin to see more six and seven figure coaches.”
According to the International Coaching Federation, globally, in 2012 the average annual revenues for coaches were just $47,900, and only a small percentage of executive coaches earned six figures. Yet each year, organizations spend over $150 billion on employee learning and development opportunities – hiring outside consultants, trainers and executive coaches to come in and teach employees and executives valuable skills.
“Despite the growing need for the talents of executive coaches, most executive coaches are far from profitable,” says Ben Croft, organizer of the upcoming World Business and Executive Coach Summit – the largest training event worldwide for coaches. “We need to step in to fill this obvious gap, and fill it quickly.”
To show coaches how to easily add more profitability in 2013, Croft has partnered with Rewers –– to teach attendees of the upcoming World Business and Executive Coach Summit how to turn their expertise into training programs that would be attractive to large organizations. Beginning October 16, Croft and Rewers will host a series of complimentary online webinars for experienced and new coaches, teaching them how to quickly add profitable revenue streams to their coaching businesses through speaking and training programs targeted to corporate companies. “What most coaches don’t know is that you can take each topic or area of expertise that you specialize in and turn it into seven separate streams of income,” Rewers says. “You can easily add coaching services that will not only multiply your profitability, but will also maximize your client results and overall satisfaction, helping you make more money and make your clients happier. We can’t wait to show coaches all over the world how to do this.”
