LOS ANGELES--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--A Hundred Years, as it is now called, is embarking on a new venture with a revised business strategy that was born from the company’s passion for working with visionary leaders and organizations to solve some of the world's greatest challenges. The company’s founder, Marc Mertens and his team have given their business model a re-vamp that has created an intersection between business and purpose, by exclusively working with clients whose visions are in line with the A Hundred Years team - that they have a goal to change the world.
“One thing I have always believed in is that 'if you make sure your team is happy, they will make sure your projects are”
As the new name suggests, the agency, formerly known as “Seso Media Group,” urges their clients including major influencers such as TED, NASA, The Smithsonian and XPrize Foundation to think and look long term when creating engaging digital strategies today. The company is no stranger to success, with three recent Webby Award wins for their work on the TED-Ed interactive education platform (ed.ted.com), which was also recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the 50 Best Websites in 2013.
“The most important thing for me is that we are creating great work, with great people who are doing (and want to continue to do) great things,” Chief Executive Officer, Marc Mertens says. “We work with companies whose missions and strategies are deeply focused on the betterment of society leveraging for-profit and non-profit models. We strongly believe in our clients, and they believe in us to help them achieve their goals.”
Zachary Szukala, A Hundred Years Executive Creative Director, adds, “We have a design team with incredible creative talent, with both agency and in-house backgrounds. They have come to us because they wanted their work to have value beyond a quarterly campaign, and wanted closer connections to clients and causes. We all come together to focus our creative process around narrative rich, well-crafted solutions and products. Our belief in playful, engaging, purposeful, human interaction design is at the heart of our approach."
“At A Hundred Years we are dedicated to keeping a healthy and imaginative work culture," said Hiron Menon, Chief Operations Officer. “One thing I have always believed in is that 'if you make sure your team is happy, they will make sure your projects are "happy."' We believe in fostering the creativity of each of our team members and allowing them the opportunity to take center stage to make their vision a reality."
Beyond its work as a creative consultancy, A Hundred Years also plans to build a community that can drive larger conversations on how to tackle the world’s major challenges via quarterly public events at its Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters in the Arts District. The events will include hosted intimate dinner parties and an editorial channel bringing together innovative thought leaders who share in their “100-years from now” vision.
A Hundred Years will begin their quarterly event series in October and plans to launch an entrepreneur mentorship program in the first quarter of 2014. For more information please visit www.AHundredYears.com.
