The Internet of Things
The prospect of connecting billions of objects and devices to wireless networks is widely regarded as one of the most important area of service innovation in the digital age. Gemalto has some of the key ingredients in ensuring that the Internet of Things can deliver on its promise with reliable and trusted technology. M2M solutions on show will include an mHealth demo, which highlights the benefits of remote monitoring of patients’ data such as blood pressure and sends the data directly via the cloud to care teams in a secure manner. Similarly, an eCall application fitted into cars can automatically alert the emergency services in case of an accident.
