As a leader in personalized learning, we at Compass Learning have a unique opportunity to work with our educator customers to develop and deliver effective and efficient professional development programs that help teachers ensure each child succeeds. By delivering high quality implementation of our rigorous and award-winning content, empowering teachers to personalize the learning experience for each child, and measuring student achievement, we can partner with districts to provide a positive, actionable learning environment in which students and teachers thrive.”
In addition to his experience with National Heritage Academies, Dr. Palumbo served as CEO of WOWIO, Inc., an emerging leader of electronic book distribution, and president of CTB/McGraw Hill. Palumbo spent nearly a decade as a tenured faculty member in the Instructional Technology program at The University of Houston – Clear Lake. During his tenure he was named an American Council on Education Fellow.
Dr. Palumbo earned both his Ed. D. in Educational Psychology/Instructional Technology and his M.A. in Educational Psychology from West Virginia University. He also earned a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Michigan.
