NUREMBERG, Germany--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--This week at the it-SA 2013 IT security conference and exhibition, member companies from the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) will demonstrate enterprise security solutions based on open industry standards in TCG’s stand, 12.0-608.
Fraunhofer SIT’s demonstration uses the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) together with Trusted Network Connect (TNC) to illustrate how security automation allows a more cost-efficient management and increases security for large-scale applications, such as point of sale.
Macmon will demonstrate how the TCG IF-MAP standard is used in security solutions that exchange data via an open interface across multivendor networks. As a result of standards, security policies must be defined only once and safety incidents are handled across the network.
NCP engineering will show the combination of secure VPN technology with modern threat defense technology using the IF-MAP standard.
Wave Systems Mobility Pro will demonstrate modern access control using Virtual Smart Cards on Windows 7 and Windows 8 tablets/PCs, enabling the use of both machine and user ID using hardware-protected certificates through the Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
Trusted Computing Group develops, defines and promotes open, vendor-neutral, global industry standards based on a hardware root of trust, for interoperable trusted computing platforms. Billions of endpoints use TCG standards to ensure system integrity, protect networks and secure data. For more information, see www.trustedcomputinggroup.org and on Twitter and LinkedIn.
