CHICAGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Customer relationship management strategist Killian Schaffer has been named Managing Director of CRM of Havas Discovery, bringing close to two decades of expertise honed through work with some of the world’s foremost brands.

In addition to his duties as Managing Director, Schaffer will be adding to and working closely with the Discovery teams in Richmond, Va., and Baltimore while also consulting with all offices in North America for Havas. Schaffer has been managing, segmenting and integrating data into communications for the past 18 years. He has been instrumental in demystifying data tools, processes and analytics for clients and internal partners alike.

Before Havas Worldwide, Schaffer directed CRM strategy for Cramer-Krasselt, where he developed acquisition, conversion and loyalty programs for brands that included Porsche, Edward Jones and Cedar Fair amusement parks. He also led the fully integrated team for Westwood College, for which he managed brand development and performance marketing – including reporting insights – across offline, digital and social channels.

Schaffer also worked as a CRM consultant for the database marketing arm of G2, where he led reporting and analytics for Orencia and managed a team to optimize media performance and re-engineer its CRM programs to harness both consumer and professional data assets. Schaffer also has delivered acquisition, retention and customer-engagement strategies for Outback Steakhouse, Adobe software, Nestlé Water and LasikPlus.
