CINCINNATI--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--To help consumers fight against identity theft, Cintas Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced a collaboration with OfficeMax® to provide customers with convenient, secure and cost-effective shredding services. OfficeMax customers can now have their financial documents, tax forms and other confidential materials securely destroyed at any OfficeMax retail location. In honor of National Protect Your Identity Week, Oct. 20 – 26, the services will be available for just 49 cents per pound, and the promotion will run through the end of October.

Customers can bring their confidential documents to any OfficeMax location, and an OfficeMax associate will place the documents in a locked, secure collection bin for off-site destruction. Cintas-certified drivers then pick-up and transport the documents to access-controlled shredding facilities in secure, state-of-the-art vehicles. At the facility, all documents remain under constant surveillance until they are destroyed. Additionally, every shredded document is recycled.
