MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Flash Global Logistics (Flash), a global aftermarket 3PL service provider for mission-critical service parts and products logistics, recently added Nora Becker as Director of Global Trade and Compliance as they continue to strengthen and expand their worldwide compliance capabilities.
“At Flash, we take compliance very seriously, and are making a proactive effort to keep our compliance staff well informed and educated”
Nora Becker has over twenty years’ experience leading international and domestic teams designing, building and delivering world-class compliance services to the market with the objective of ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. She has built an impressive track record of successfully improving customers’ supply chain efficiency by ensuring customs clearance on outbound and inbound shipments.
In her role with Flash Global Logistics, Becker is responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s best-in-class compliance program through the implementation of best practices, reengineering of compliance-related processes and conducting continual training programs. Becker has experience in foreign-to-foreign transactions and is assisting key clients in resolving compliance issues. She is also responsible for the company’s global FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) compliance program with our Partner Network in more than 80 countries around the world.
Global compliance regulations are constantly changing, which means that Becker and her team must constantly monitor these changes so that she can proactively channel them to her internal team and, ultimately, Flash’s clients. “We’re in constant communication with customs officials around the globe, the Flash leaders and our customers,” Becker said.
Due to the mission-critical nature of their cargo, Flash’s clients ship parts across international borders to support their customers in a four-hour and/or next day delivery window within country. By staying up on compliance regulations, Flash proactively ensures that there are no issues at customs when importing parts, which prevents delays, impacts customer satisfaction and reduces the potential lost revenue.
“At Flash, we take compliance very seriously, and are making a proactive effort to keep our compliance staff well informed and educated,” said Becker. “We are making a conscious effort to tighten our FCPA program because we want to continue to be leaders in this arena. A robust and well-rounded compliance program definitely is a value-add to our client base.”
